How can people just reject? Reject without reason, and
reject without the information of the situation? Watching a popular law
show (ahem..Law and Order SVU) there was a situation of a pharmacist
rejecting a rape victim the right to the morning after pill. But what
gives the person the right to embed their beliefs onto people without
getting the facts or at all. Their job is to insure the safety of
people, not to judge the person in any which way. what's your thought on
this? When is life created?

Art School
I'm not sure if going to an EXPENSIVE art school is worth it. I say I don't mind paying the student loans but I know its going to suck then I have to pay them off. I just want to go to a good school and get a great job coming out of it. I'm thinking about the art institutes. Its about 85K for bachelors in graphic design, I better do my research and make sure its not 85/yr cause that's just tooo much for the 3yr degree plan. Anyways, I just want to make sure my career comes easily and quickly and that its stable enough to last through our country's mess of crap.

Four Xmases
Vince V does another great performance that leaves people talking and keeps them laughing. I must say it is very nice seeing Vince play a moderate and conservative role. It almost came natural to him and I didn't remember any old school bits or anything of that sort. Reese also plays a spot on character that you begin to feel and care for. Over all the quick jab comedy and the very sarcastic nature of Vince creates a nice tone and feel to the movie.

A Quantum Review
Quantum of Solace, another bond film for our action hungry bodies, brings just that, action. The film blazes open with intense titles and a balls to the wall car chase scene that makes you cringe as the pricey cars get trashed to a heap. The story line is strong but very predicatable, and sometimes very randomly out of no where. Craig does a great job still trying to fill past bond actors' shoes, but leaving the theater and looking back at other Bond films, I was left empty. Remember the old Bond with invisible cars, high tech gadgets, and countless women? This film is nothing of that sort but you still feel quenched with what Solace brings to a mostly weak Bond storyline.

drunkman
so I was at the local landromat (sp?) and this drunk as hell guy walks in and is walking around and he walks past us (dad and I) and we can smell the cheap beer on him. he stands in front of us and says "fuck the police" and continues to rant about shit. oh and during this time in just looking straight forward and eyeing him in case he gets close. he finally left after a blatant "NO!" to use my cell phone, which was ready for a quick 911 call. crazy el pasoans. haha

Work
Recently I've felt a great deal of resentment towards work. I think the only reason why I stay is because I'm damn good at what I do. My passion for work and that restaurant as dwindled into a task that I must accomplish. Its not the overall work or things to do, its the managers and the people that really done share the same strive I have, and it hurts 1) the store 2) everything I try to work for. I'll be job hunting or, putting in for a transfer, to a store I hope shares the same strive I had to better myself and better the company.

Thursday Art Entry
Today opened my eyes to a the recently distant world of art. Tomorrows a new day, I got to get yearbook pages done and work on my sculpture lamp. I'll talk about that much later and maybe some pics to go along with.
I've been stressing a lot over work and with life. and ironically enough work is my escape. It sounds so weird to say that, but work is a nice escape to a life that sometimes just wont stop.
Thought of the blog: Can you really judge art? Should you even consider ranking art? how dare you.

New Stride
Well hello blog, I haven't talked to you in a while and recently, I've gotten a passion of writing journal like entries to my very busy life, so I hope to continue with one or two a day and hopefully create a decently sized portfolio for you to read. happy blogging. <3

ugh
I love dq, but my local one is a real piece of work, I don't mind waiting. but 15min for a burger and popcorn chicken? and then when it finally came out they gave it to someone else, and they already started eating it, so I told my dad, screw this. we went up all pissed and then I wanted to see a manager. (btw: there this worker there and she's always yawning, being rude and rolling her eyes, she was there tonight) guess who was the manager? HER! so I'm like, this is ridiculous, The cook is on the phone in the back and you get are orders messed up, this is outrageous (eye roll from her) I'm pisssssed at this point, like ready to cut a bitch, so I'm like, we want our money back right now. so they did. and I was there and asked her for the number to the corporate office and she's all, "well I don't know it" and I'm like well that's great, what's your name? and she said, while not paying attention to me , "ana" that fucking cunt. if I get in trouble at work for having an untucked shirt, I will fight to the death to get her fired.

McCain
*deep breath* Ok, here we go, McCain, I respect your heroic achievements, I really do. But, Is that all you bring to the table? Your war hero status?, cause I'm pretty sure little miss Alaska didn't write that speech and was force feed that on the teleprompter. Vet this, Hero that, its great and all, maybe for the first month or so, but I think Americans are just tired of it. I say Americans because wither us demos like it or not, we might be saluting to a "war hero". I want to leave you with a simple phrase, Obama has nothing to bring to the war table, but McCain seems to be a one-trick pony on that same table. We have an office to fill, not a table to warm.
yayz
So today is an exciting day for Mr. Jacob Hernandez, I received my drivers license today and I'm more than excited. It almost seemed that this week was going to be bad but tomorrow I have the morning off (food handlers class downtown) and then Friday I have a tennis tourney ALL DAY! so I'm really excited :] So its safe to say the week is now mended and everyone should wish me luck with Fridays tennis match :D

growing up or growing out
I think I'm over the cutesie thing, not a personal change just social. I don't need them to be cutesie, I need them to be shopisticated. Now I don't mind their cutesie nature but I when I need to talk to them about something that doesn't require their child-like behavior, I just don't see it happening. Maybe its fine for now but later, I feel like it just won't work. Its not a matter of need, but what everyone will be happy with. They are happy, but I am not always happy and sometimes feel that I have nothing to be happy about with them, just a slight high that can only be quenched rarely. Maybe I have to adjust, but I feel that I have adjusted nicely already and I just haven't found "that" I need.

August Rush Reveiw
August Rush: The movie was well directed, although the concept was strong, it started getting too farfetched at times and made me roll my eyes. This child has always loved music(or sound at first) then picked up a guitar (seemed like the next day) and was a musical genius. At first it was really tacky that he could do this, but once they reveal his schooling at julliard etcetc, they create this musical genius (one girl in the movie said, "mozart"), it becomes something that's remarkable rather than fairytale. From there on, the movie became insteresting. The ending is the end of the quest, his parents ("magically") find each other at this kid's concert and it just ends. I would have liked to seen more to the story, but maybe if I would have I would be writing to you, "I wish I had seen less". Either way the movie was a good one, not sure if I'd see it again, its one of those.

Work
well as some of you might now I have started work, YAY my first jobbb, yeah don't get aead of yourself. I have yet to see if the hours are good, but the work is easy. I work at little ceasars, and I will tell you the same thing I tell everyone, I do everything. That's how it works around there, you learn everything, and you do everything. You would think that seeing, smelling and feeling the warm pizzas would be the worst part of the job, but its not. I can hardly smell the pizza now, haha. But I'm pretty happy where I am at and have no complaints I have the 2week evaluation to worry about but I don't see wy it would go terribly. I'm still a rook, can't they give me that? oh well, 5 dollar hot and ready people! come and get em.

Heath Thought
I haven't followed Heath's careers as much as others, but as a "normal demographic movie go'er" you can see how good and how bad of an actor he was. Brokeback mountatin was a bold movie for any actor to take on. During a time when gay rights was being challenge, heath possibly changes the way we see a different side of out culture. I repect Heath and what he did in his life, but does his death spark pity among Oscar voters? Would he be in such a limelight with the release of the Dark Knight? Has society again taken a bad thing, and turned it into a good moneymaking machine? We will see when the numbers and the oscar nominations come out.

Wanted Review
Wanted was great, I pity the people that don't just sit back, forget the resonable and possible side of life and just live what the character is feeling. That's what movies are about. You think star wars was so popular because of how real it was? get a grip. Just sit back, enjoy some action (that's why you paid for it) and don't complain. The action was good, the violence FXs we're so "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPEND?" and the 'moves' we're very impressive. Why miss Angelina with a gun, bringing back those Laura Croft memories? You shall not. Overall the "shoot now, think later" movie of Wanted is a must see for you gunslinging lovers.

Looks like he’s using canons today. i hope to god that he has the super slow mo cam here. its amazing that things you can do with that. (CHECK: gizmodo.com’s many videos with slo-mo.
Im sporting the black macbook, the only one in the room besides the speaker. Im getting those hate PC user dirty looks. They are so lame.
2:00 PM
It has begun. he seems decent. good talker. mmmm he forgot the second point. this guy is a real steve jobs eh.
He needs to prepare his pres a little more. but hes charming.
We’re taking pictures of ballons popping. Im now deaf.
The ballon thing worked using a old tape recorder with a mic and a standalone flash hooked up into the 3.5mm headphone jack. Worked nicely, i will definatly have to try this.
Basically the presentation is using basic digital photography and using advanced techniques, trying to be affordable.
next is the ol’ ping pong ball exposure trick. old school
the picture came out nicely, and he also used a stroboscope the picture came out low light but he fixed it nicely. I expected more from this but its still a decent keynote.
